Photoshop cs6

Im currently running photoshop cs6 on my acer e1-571 , it should be able to run the software? (also its on windows 8) , but as soon as i click on the paint bucket tool and use it , it freezes , any ideas on how to resolve the issue?

lol , its a new laptop so its the first time im having this problem , on all the other pcs/laptops i had iv never experienced this trying to get a website layout done and its impossible with all the freezing

Maybe some Win8 teething issues, have you loaded all the latest updates?

Did you try Adobe updates?

I nearly use all the Adobe CS6 Application on Windows 8 and have not had any problems at all. I even have increased user experience switching to Windows 8. Paint Bucket Tool is working 100% in Photoshop CS6 here.

It is either updates or conflicting software, even hardware troubleshooting. Our one pc acted up in Adobe previously due to memory modules…

I'm also using CS6 on Windows 8 on my Toshiba without any issues. I think you may have to update the graphics driver on your laptop.
