I found a plug in for GIMP (which I usually use) that lets you use plug-ins created for PS and I'm interested in trying some out to see what they can do.

So what plug-ins do you use and what do they do? Would be interesting to give them a test run

Very nice little add-on. I couldnt find a profile for my exact camera, but I took a similar model's profile. I was like... this doesnt work at first, but at 100% zoom its quite incredible. A nice little add on that I think I may keep.

This gimp add on that lets you use the PS ones also seem to do the job :)

Any others worth trying?

what gimp add on is it? I havent been able to get into gimp yet, but I intend to give it another shot, and a plug like this this may come in handy...

My favourite plug-in is the contrast mask from mv's plugins. Unfortunately, the viewing window doesn't work properly with Gimp + pspi (and I found quite a few of my other PS plugins have the same problems :()

Cool, Ill give it a try. I also noticed that neat image only works when it feels like it. Sometimes it works, other times it just stops processing the image about 90% of the way through, and sometimes it crops my pic and puts a black border around it. I dont know if it has to do with the fact that it is a demo version or not, but I cant exactly find a serial number to confirm it...

Alienskin Exposure and Alienskin Image Doctor.
What does that do?

Contrast mask: Love it!!! I see what you mean though with the preview window, but try a setting, if it doesnt work out, undo and try again is better than nothing I guess.

Alienskin Exposure isnt of much use to me, as I dont really ever want to give my pics that "film look". As for Image doctor, I havent tried it, but is it really that great? It isnt much of a mission though to try, so maybe I should just give it a go.
