Clarotech’s Telephony Team delivers and supports PBX and Call Centre solutions built around the Asterisk platform. Additional components such as QueueMetrics and the ViciDial dialler are implemented as required. Clarotech provides Consulting services to our telephony clients in order to advise on best practice, system architecture, and integration. Data Analysis, Reporting and Analytics are a major part of the service offering.
The successful candidate will join the Call Centre Consulting team and be involved in customer-facing consulting and support as well as application design and development of User Interfaces, Integration Tools and Data Extraction/Manipulation.
The position is based in Cape Town and may require some national travel. Applicants must be in possession of valid South African work permit.
Salary: R15000 – R25000pm commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education
• Tertiary education in relevant discipline from an established institution is preferred, but may be substituted with good experience.
Requirements
• Good understanding of development principles
• A minimum of two years PHP and MySQL, HTML, CSS programming experience
• Database Design, extensive SQL knowledge
• MS-Excel (including Pivot Tables)
• Data Analysis
• Business Intelligence and Reporting
• Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting
• Basic knowledge of IT Systems & Networking Architecture
Advantageous
• Understanding of Telephony Architecture, VoIP
• Asterisk - dCap (or equivalent). Experience with QueueMetrics and ViciDial
• Call Centre Operations experience
• Call Centre Reporting & Analytics
Personal Skills/Attributes
• Innovative logical thinker and problem solver
• Fanatical attention to detail. Able to produce quality documentation of solutions
• Proactive, can-do attitude
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem management and resolution skills;
