Tertiary qualification
1 – 2 years recent experience as a software developer with PHP, in a small to medium sized enterprise
A good understanding of relational database design and the ability to use SQL
What will be expected of me on a daily basis?
Follow the SCRUM development methodology
Interpret requirements correctly
Design and promote minimum viable products
Estimate complexity with reasonable accuracy
Identify and communicate technical risks
Write structured code that is easy to maintain
Apply best practices when using development tools such as story boards, version control etc
Use sustainable, automated testing strategies
Work in a team environment
Produce high quality software
Remain productive whilst working sustainable hours
Work on other members’ code without rewriting most of it
Strive for personal development and contribute towards the development of your peers
Take responsibility to resolve problems
Walk the extra mile and be dependable
Contribute towards a positive team morale and spirit
