Found this on digg.com the story is OK but the actual story example is not that great.

Have a look at these, found them in the comments to the story.

WARNING THESE ARE BIG DOWNLOADS!

27.2MB & 113MB

http://physx.ageia.com/cellfactor_hd.mov Cellfactor [113,8MB] - http://www.cellfactorgame.com/
http://physx.ageia.com/bos_hd.mov Bet on soldier [27,MB] - http://www.betonsoldier.com/

The Cellfactor one is big but well worth the download if you can spare the bw.

Really looks awesome.

/me gets out giant wrench to go smash up telkom's cap enforcing utilities!

Guess what, i have them on order at BFGtech already. The new dell and top of the RANGE Alienware already have them. CPU scores in 06 are going to go up :D

This thing is going to be awesome but I cant see myself spending that much for it.(R1800) I wonder how much better it will be compared to say game written where one core (in a dual core pc) does the physics and one does the rest?
Cant remember where I saw it, but Nvidia is going to do something they call SLI-Physics or something like that, where one graphics card will do physics and the other the normal graphics.

Using some benchmark they created, called boulder mark IIRC, with the SLI system it scored bout 60 fps, while when the CPU does it, it got a score of something like 6fps

EDIT: found the article: http://www.tgdaily.com/2006/03/20/nvidia_sli_forphysics/
