Hi, sure this has been asked before, there's an old thread where people recommend kodi and exodus... that combination has always been a problem for me.
Got a Pi3 sitting around, and a 1080p projector. Thinking of turning the pi3 into an android tv thing... with dstv now, netflix, and youtube. Have anyone tried it? how's the playback? My Pi was struggling a bit with HD youtube through kodi last lime I tried it.

It won't work as AndroidTV on the RBP won't be Google Certified.
HD videos might struggle a bit.
You will also need to sideload an old Netflix phone app and buy a USB remote.
Better to get a device like S922, RK3399 that can run LibreELEC 4K@60hz and Netflix 1080p with auto frame-rate switching. Even a Mibox with an outdated S905x processor will work better and offer 4K Netflix and DSTV Now support.
