because the internets hurts my brain today.

I have an old sony with next to no hd space. its really old. and today I wanted to update a few apps, and discovered to my horror that bloody google installed picasa on the thing and I want it off. any suggestions without me having to re-root the phone?

Cant you go into Application Manager, then choose Picasa there, and then uninstall the updates and then disable the app?

just ploughed through there, and it doesnt show on the phone otehr than in the play store -.-

It should be there. Take a screenshot and upload it here. AFAIK Google never released an Picasa app. It was Google Plus photos and after Google IO this year just became Google Photos.
