Pick n Pay responded to the retrenchment concerns saying it is restructuring its stores to serve customers better.

As part of the restructuring process, the retailer will remove positions which are no longer required. However, there are no plans to cut jobs.

Well, with this response I'd say the writing is on the wall for many of the managers.

Whities have to go, AA and BEE says so. Useless till staff will be safe doing things as slowly as possible.

This is the collapsing economy we find ourselves in and there is no stopping this or turning it around. South Africans need to accept this and move it. Businesses will only fail more. More people will be left unemployed with no further employment opportunities. It is already happening. People know what to do. Work better with your money, save up and do it as quick as possible.
