Pick n Pay now allows Zapper

Howzit. Not sure if this has been rolled out to all branches, but the PnP in Ferndale Randburg now accepts Zapper. It is lekker. They did it to minimize contact with the machines as I understand it. Have used it twice now. Works great. You tell them you want to pay with Zapper, it then displays the QR on the card machine screen and you zap and pay.

Please report here if your local PnP supports Zapper.

Pick n Pay has introduced new scan and pay technology at all till points nationwide to allow customers to go completely contactless when paying for their shop.

Customers will also be able to use Snapscan and Zapper, the retailer said.

All Pick 'n Pays should have it.

Oh cool. Sorry....I did not know there has been a article on it. Did not feel like googling. Having a home brewed "vodka" and Lichi cooldrink mix and a braai lol.

They have it but the staff have no clue how to use it. Tried 2 Pick n Pays in my area last week and they looked at me like I was mad. Even the manager didn't know about it

Ended up just saying "card payment" and tapped my phone.

Pretty much potato skins in boiled water with sugar dissolved (cooled down) and the yeast and leave it for a week.
