i was using a Canon 1000d and that newish canon 24mm pancake lens

wife was using a 650d and alternating with a canon 30mm prime and a sigma 70-200mm zoom

lol yes. Hanging Gardens (malaba point iirc) Nearby there is a parsie (zoroastrian?) burial ground, they leave bodies on pillars and let the birds dispose of them. No burial, cremation. Then bury the bones i think. Was closed so couldnt get a view

The Tower of Silence. Awesome name. But I think it's permanently closed to randoms, no? I know the uber-rich Malabar Hill residents complain about the smell if the wind blows in the wrong direction. The view from Hanging Gardens is really great on a clear day.

i can imagine. with sub 40degree temperatures and 70 to 80% humidity...
