Pictures collaboration

Hi,

I just came back from a holiday and of course took a lot of photos with my phone and camera.
I am looking for a software that will collaborate all the pictures and movies, into a short movie.

Preferably on a PC.

I don't want anything too complicated, i actually love the google + stories feature, but i want something that will allow me to save the file
as avi or something and not relay on google+ to view the file.

DVDStyler is a free dvd authoring program, it works well but it can't save to avi.

I really like how google stories does everything for you...
take the dates location and will name the movie (Tuesday in cape town for example).

nothing else out there that does that?
