Pie, Play Store and Nokia 1

Hi Everyone

I'm new here. I need to know if anyone here has experienced problems with Pie recently suddenly doing weird stuff...like battery life suddenly bad etc.

I ask this cause I've a Nokia 1 that recently upgraded to Pie from Oreo. It was fine for a while and than started doing crazy crap. I think I have pinpointed the problem down to Play Store doing automatic updates... I think that there is an app that Play Store updates automatically that caused all the issues.

What I did was do a Factory Reset. I have stopped all Play Store automatic updates straight after the Factory Reset. Suddenly, the phone is its normal self again. Battery life not going down even when the phone is in standby and screen off.

Been testing for 2 days now and this cheap but great phone is rock solid again.

Anyone have any similar problems

I have the Nokia 7 Plus, don't have an issue like that, my battery life has actually been pretty great, getting ~1 day remaining according to battery info in settings, 2hr screen on, last charge 16 hours ago, 61% left. 45min FF, 15h Spotify (car rides + Google Home streaming which was ~8 hours so think it just keeps waking up in the background), and a novel app for 1h as the major culprits.
