Pikitup HQ On Fire

OK, wait, here's a news source from eNCA.

Seems the actual building was not on fire, just a bunch of bins outside it.

This morning, Mayor Tau has invited the public to help him clean the streets of Braamies. Bloody cheek.

Indeed. He should ****ing do it himself. It's his lack of competent leadership that caused this in the first place.

I drove through Braamfontien on the way home yesterday (thanks waze). The rubbish on the streets looked like it had come from a garbage truck all compacted. Where did the rubbish all come from?
When are the strikers going to bear the consequences of doing this?

Maybe if we weren't forced to pay Pikitup whether they do their job or not Mayor Tau, we might take your suggestion a bit more seriously.

Streets are indeed siff all the way in to Joburg CBD

These Africans really have a way of lodging grievances.

No, the building is fine or no, its burnt down.

I don't even think the building was damaged... just blackened and smoked out.
As it turned out, all that smoke was from a pile of dustbins that they burnt in the street in front of the HQ.
