Hi,

New house, don't have a wheelie bin. Need one.

Checked the pikitup site, they don't seem to "give" you one anymore. Do I have to go buy one for B-Warehouse or a hardware store?

Thanks!

Don't buy one. If it's not a pikitup bin, they won't empty it. You need to phone them and arrange for delivery, then they will then bill you on your next statement.

Ours was stolen. Complete ball ache to have it replaced :(

Yup, they're rented. One mine was also stolen. Haven't even bothered replacing it due to the hassle. FU pikitup.

Wow, ok. I had no idea.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll give them a call.

When you get it, BEFORE you put it out on the street, make sure to put your house number on it... That was my mistake.

I will paint the damn thing bright pink if i have to.

Youy can get these number (green going to blue) stickers for cheap at Builders Warehouse, they are actually called somthing like wheelie bin numbers. Our new bin got the house numbers stuck on 3 sides sides now...

If you're in PTA drive to Pretoria west. Up Von Willigh street to the depo. They sell the bins there. Some stupid amount like R 200 or something. If you neighbour has a busted one ask him if you can have it. Take it there and exchange it :p

Well, apparently I DO have a bin, but its broken on one side on the top. Pikitup refused to use it because it cant be lifted by the truck.

Is there anywhere in JHB I can take the slightly broken one and get a new one?

(Nice tip Pitbull, ty.)
