I mainly use the internet to play MMORPG, now I believe that mywireless is actually ok for this purpose. What I would dearly like to know is what you get if you ping europa.owo.com ? Could a couple of people please just do a quick ping and paste the results in here ? Also just state your package. I know you have a lot of ping questions, but I am specifically interested in europa.owo.com, as this is generally my benchmark for determining a connection solution. The second question I have is how what does sentech use at the end point to connect to the internet ? I assume it goes out via satalite or is it a land line ? I understand that it goes from my house, to the tower, to sentech, but from there what is used ?

Your help will be much appreciated in helping me decide if this is the right solution.

For interest sake, this is my current ping to that address:

Pinging central-eu1.owo.com [159.153.178.7] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 159.153.178.7: bytes=32 time=249ms TTL=49

Ping statistics for 159.153.178.7:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 240ms, Maximum = 253ms, Average = 246ms

That is on an ISDN, now if I get close to that I am switching :) But it is my understanding from browsing these forums that I won't...anyway.

Hope to get a couple of replies
Regards
Dirk

Wow,ok,I'm surprised, didn't think they would be that bad :(

Guess I'll stick to ISDN for awhile.

Yeah - Sentech is not really for gaming - not right now anyway.

128k package (not that it matters what package anyway !) [:D]
