Ping Spikes

Lately when playing BF2 online, I will get a ping spike every two minutes or so of upto about 400. I dont get kicked for high ping as its last a short time, but is really irritating.
I really have no idea whats causing it, Ive closed everything running in background, turned off other pc's in the house etc.
Any know of an app that could tell me?

Have u turned off firewalls, antiviruses, windows firewall, windows automatic updates... stuff like that?

ive checked everything that needs to be turned off. this only started recently, and ive been playing for a year.

That happened to me about 2 months ago, where no matter what ISP I used. All other systems were disconnected from the network and it was deffinately not the gateway or router. Wasn't the the firewalls or anti-virus either, and Automatic Updates service was disabled.
