Ping Time Outs

Yet another weekend of telkom's excellent service...

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep, i'm also having trouble with certain sites - time outs and host unreachable errors. Having the same issues with telkomsa.net as above...

I've got the same problems since saturday morning, packetloss to all servers. I'm in the East Rand on the chloorkop exchange and telkom have been to my house 3 times allready. I wish they could get techies that realise that the problem is with the exchange and not your freakin line, they even tested my router.

Having problems accessing some sites - not widespread, but definately problematical.

Don't blame ADSL too quick, or Telkom - there's any number of things that could be causing the issue.

My download speeds from most places are unaffected.

Ping to Telkomsa.net is 100% ok (dsl 384) :-

[Unstable]

I can ping anysite with a capped and uncapped account (i have 2 telkomsa accounts) and get the same thing, this has happened before..over the whole weekend..on monday it will be find again.

Ive had telkom test the adsl line ..they say its fine...the problem lies with telkomsa service. If i only i had a uunet adsl account or any other account to test i could confirm this
