Pinger's Textfree App

I just downloaded the Textfree app by Pinger from the US store, it allows me to send free text messages to anyone around the world, the recipient don't even need to have the app to be able to receive messages.

To register, all you need is a US zip code, any zip code, I used 77478. Try it, there is a free version with ads and a paid version without ads.

Yes it works well. Sms delivery to mtn and vodacom in seconds. You get your own unique number so dont think blacklisting of the sms routes would happen.

Also checkout Viber - good alternative to skype and can be a whatsapp etc alternative

Does it only work for certain networks? I tried vodacom and it worked but not to cell c.
