Piss poor latency in BG

Howzit!

Need ask all you SA WoW players about the latency you can (sometimes?) receive in BGs. We attempted to play Arathi Basin on Sat and received some major lag. Eventually content with about 1500ms and not getting D/C. This was to the US server Whisperwind.

Does this sometimes happen? Is this a regular occurence? How can I prevent this from happening?

I tried both my unshaped and shaped accounts and neither seemed to outperform the other. Maybe Telscum was screwing around or the exchange was being raped on Sat, I dunno. Any suggestions? Tx.

Had a AV weekend the last weekend and I had no problems at all. But again I am playing on the European servers, ping was 440ish with no lag spikes.

TBH since getting my adsl in March I did not have one single lag spike on my connection while playing wow. Normal WA unshaped prepaid.

Dude i get around 600 - 800 ms in BG on MTN Edge

3G during the day on Saturday's. 500 - 800ms. Eu servers, Twighlights Hammer. I will not mention nights as Vodacom is my enemy then.

between 380-500ms on unshaped but useing vpn. With 384 dsl line. i play on talnivar and 3 of us play at the same time, and talnivar is eu

i had a problem when spawning into AV this weekend past as WoW would actually freeze.

Yeah i've had that same problem before SonZeRo, friend of mine too, i think that's more to do with the game and your UI than our connections tho. I may be wrong but that's my guess
