Pistorious Drunk?

Couple that with the claim that his boat destroyed a pier which was less than 6m from shore:
The pier is about 6m long. The law stipulates that no vessel should, where possible, come closer than 50m to a river bank.
The river is 200m wide in the place where the accident happened.

It's not looking good for this incident.

Please stop spreading these vicious rumours. The police report said he was legless.

People should really hear both sides of the story as there are always 2 sides don't always take things at face value.

So? He drank. So what? We all do, and we have all done very stupid things when intoxicated (mind you driving over a pier, still beats everything I have ever done)

exactly; people are so quick to godlyfy everyone they see as being above or special over the rest of the populace, then when they the gods of the people have some sort of "human" streak in them its all such a shock and surprise...

Are you guys defending him just because he has no legs? Being drunk is being drunk and i am pretty sure he someone must have been wasted out their mind to cause this type of crash.

I was not very popular when the story broke and i said he was drunk......

:D

But with celebrity comes great responsibility, yes we all do it but we all do not have Nike as a sponsor, so you cannot just do it...............:D

It's the same with politicians when you get to a place where everybody knows you - you have a responsibility.

Nope, I am not defending him, what I am saying, people are now shrieking in horror cause he might have been drunk, guess what, everyone gets drunk (well ok most of us), he did the bad deed, now he has to deal with the result. But all of a sudden crucifying him, because heaven forbid, he drank, whoop dee do

Maybe you should tell to people who have lost friends and family to drunk drivers.

Being drunk is one thing, being so drunk that you cannot drive is not acceptable. I have been out on a boat and we where all wasted but the driver at no point collided with a 6m pier.

You must be out your tree not to notice a 6m long pier.

Psssst in this country, that last sentence does not comprehend

If the guy was drunk, he should be taken for questioning. He could have killed other people. Drunk piloting?

Never said drinking and driving, was right, I drink and I don't drive, so what is your point, he is being investigated for "boating" under the influence, and if the case, then he should face the full penalty of rule.

But guess what, you drink, we don't think less of you (if that is possible), and if you get in an accident, when under the influence, you will get prosecuted, but we are not going to say:"Oh no, he drank, how could he, I always thought killa was this little angel"

+1! So becuase he is legless, he can drive/pilot a boat under the influence?
What if there was someone on the pier? Would it have been fine if they lost their legs, just becuse he hasn't got any?

:confused::confused::confused:

and who has Pistorius killed ?

All the drunk politicians people want to burn on a stake also only injured themselfs...... not the point.

So like SA first you have to kill someone then you can get a slap on the wrist.....

Double standards people.
