Pixel Dungeon [all variants] Hints, Tips and Tricks

Recently started playing Unleashed Pixel Dungeon on my tablet.

Note that there's more than one variant of Pixel Dungeon out there, namely Shattered, Unleashed, Sprouted, Remixed etc.

Recently did a search on how to defeat some enemies, but the Reddit page disappeared into the bin bucket, and I thought to start a thread here where the informationwon't disappear suddenly.

So... any tips and tricks you'd like to share?

Fighting monsters and other ne'er-do-wells :

When there is more than one enemy, stand one block away from a door so that the enemy can get to you one by one. Otherwise you'll be fighting a losing battle on too many fronts

Flies - best fought in a narrow passage.
