Who else has used this? I registered a while ago but never used it as uploading either requires spending a lot of time on the site or forking out money. Decided to give it a shot after an email about a contest for which I had photos I could enter. First impressions not very good. Sponsor decided to disqualify a lot of photos and then add them back as the rules weren't very clear.

That would still have been alright but the site itself is really buggy and incomplete. Checking "mature content" doesn't stick. Don't care to see it or not but having to click images to see them when they aren't even labeled correctly is rather tiresome. Linking your fb profile to take part in duals also doesn't stick. Luckily there's an easy workaround by simply right clicking to open the url so the javascript doesn't load. Though that says a lot about the security when you don't even have to verify your identity to "keep voting fair and unbiased." After deleting my images my profile strangely shows a negative amount of pictures and shockingly my images are still available through the contest. Just now I find out there's no change password option. Have to low and behold logout first and then click on "forgot password."

It's a pity really. I feel they have a rather unique concept but they're seriously hamstringing the users by having commercialised almost every aspect of the site. 6 votes initially to gauge the popularity of an image isn't enough. Even the top 1% of photos lost with almost half the votes so with a bit of bad luck a really great image can go unnoticed. Also find it a bit dodgy that photos are stored at googleusercontent.com
