I was going to water the garden with my emergency rain water tank seeing as its now the rainy season but I'll probably hold off on that for a bit.

Was washing my car at 6pm. Some karen clown complex btch walks up to me and mouths off. Turned the sprayer onto her and didn't listen further.

I love how jhb residents are forced to comply with water restrictions or get a fine but go to any car wash place and its like water xmas

Many Car wash places , have a trench around the area where they do the washing, they recoup a lot of the water, filter and reuse

I have the same problem. Its quite clear this is a service delivery issue but the Karen's on the WhatsApp groups are quick to villainise any and everyone but the crooks who are stealing us blind and destroying the infrastructure.

Remember the drought in 2016.

They also released water for Sterkfontein Dam then (I drove past the Sterkfontein stream with the mass of flowing water back in late December 2016).

Coincidentally is started raining in the dams area a few night later and also rained a lot in Vaal dam catchment area and the drought broke quickly.

Yeah 2015 and 2016 were pretty much the same.
2016 Xmas was a down pour as well pretty hectic. I remember as we went to a restaurant and my son wanted to play on the wet playground.

Our drought is also over. All, but one, of the 5 dams are overflowing, yet our monkeypality deems it fit NOT to suspend the tough water restrictions and tariffs!!!! Fuggen thieves!!!

One of the car washes close to us does this but I haven't seen many do it.
How would you notice it? One around the corner has Jojo tanks with greybwater, and other one says they recycle. They could be lying, but what do I care.

Poor maintenance has led to the cities losing more than 40% of the water they are supplied with to leaks.

Is it cheaper to just pay for this lost water or are they just too lazy to spend money to fix these issues?
