Planning a day long holiday

For one of my tasks this week. I have to plan a day long holiday. Just a day and not too expensive. (Going to Bangkok in May, so I'm saving for that).

I live in Centurion, Pta. And I don't want to spend all day on the road. But I do enjoy the garage smell at 5/6am. The trick is that I have to go alone as it's a "date" with my inner artist.

Any suggestions? I'm lost on this one.
