planting a Monkey Thorn tree

Hi guys. Not sure about the categorisation of the question.

I would love to plant a monkey thorn tree in my back yard. I aldo have a swimming pool and Ive read that Monkey Thorn trees have agressive root systems. What is the closest i can plant this tree to my pool?
