Plasma Screen TV's - Sizes

Hi all,

Do you get Plasma screens smaller than the 'standard' big ones, like the 42" etc.
I am looking for a smallish (say 51cm) plasma for our bedroom.

EDIT: And on that note, what should I be looking at in terms of specs? HD, dvi, etc etc?

Keep in mind it will be in a bedroom, watching dstv, and thats about it.

Thanks Angellus ... you actually get 51 and 54cm Plasmas, but I will have a look at LCDs then

23" is around 58cm. But it is 16:9 aspect ratio, so it looks slightly smaller than a 51cm 4:3 set.

Hmm, that does look nice ... pity about the price though

There's a number of cheaper LCD TV's in SA.

There is Sansui, but I'm not sure I'd buy a Sansui. They have a big range though from 15" to 37" and I think even a 42" (might be wrong there).

Proline also has a range as good prices. BenQ as well (would be my choice).

Still they very pricey

Yeah LCD's are the way to go, pity that they are darn expensive though. But you do get less well known brand LCD's for much smaller price.
