Platform Fees

Hi All,

Does anyone know the different platform fees that apply by going directly with Satrix? For their investor platform and their TFSA?

Trying to see if it's cheaper to buy Satrix ETFs through Satrix or through EE...

Also if I am not mistaken ETFSA's Platform (annual) fee is 0.7% would be interested to see how this compares to the above 2 options.

When buying through EE I know that you have to pay a brokerage fee per transaction, however no administration / platform fees. When buying direct though Satrix or ETFSA for that matter do you pay transaction fees over and above the annual platform fees? If so surely it's a no-brainer to go with EE? Or go for Index Tracking UTs sold by Sygnia?

I also looked at a lot of options for a TFSA account.

In the end I went with EE as it works out to be the cheapest route to ETF's for the long term investor.

I would not be buying Satrix index funds as their annual fund costs are too high. Look at RMBT40
