How are their prices generally? Compare to Frontosa and Pinnacle Micro?

I think they a tad more expensive than rectron, axiz etc, but they official distributors for asus now and im going to be onsite for a couple of days and forgot to get a price list today. Hence the after hours request anyway looks like I have to wait till the morning to get my prices.

Is Platinum the renamed Pinacle Micro? I believe they are the tier 1 Asus distributor.

no not pinnacle micro at all, as far as i know, rectron used to do asus but they are not anymore.

I think Rectron lost it to Pinacle that got renamed Platinum. They are tier 1. Frontosa is tier 2.
But I may be wrong
Platinum Micro and Pinnacle Micro are 2 totally different companies...
Platinum Micro was previously known as Ingram Micro (SA)... They are no longer part of Ingram Micro (international company) so they changed their name.. Platinum is owned by MB technologies which also owns Tarsus, ACT etc
Pinnacle is part of PTH (Pinnacle Technology Holdings)... They are know known as Pinnacle Africa and no linger Pinnacle Micro.. PTH owns Pinnacle Africa, AxizWorkgroup and several other companies.
