Yo guys I live in DBN, and it seems all the pool halls are closing down. Where is a decent place to play pool with good high quality tables ?

All depends where you are .
I used to play at villains pub Durban at glenwood village mall ,Cnr Moore & Hunt Roads, Glenwood, Durban
Have not played there for a few years.

Hmmm yes stupid of me to just say durban.

around westville is acceptable. Glennwood side as well, basically anywhere not to dangerous where I can park nicely. No where in town

How is the tables ? I used to be semi-pro at pool but had to stop because of studies, so I take my pool quite seriously :D

Pool halls close cause they turn into drug dens & get raided by the SAPS. It getting harder to find a proper 1 in Cape Town also

usually take the laaitie to a wonderland. decent enough. when his old enough may hit somewhere else..although family have a nice one as well...

very racist game RiaX :p
Why is the white ball the dominating ball? It is the one that hits all the other balls into the pockets, and why is the black ball kept as the last ball to be knocked in by the white ball?

Because white people invented the game and there was no BEE. If that game was invented today the cue ball would have to be a multicoloured ball that fairly represents all the balls on the table

Tables take so much space :/ ... especially if you play high level pool, you cant play properly if you have to elevate your cue when you not suppose to

I used to play quite often at Pool Academy in Sherwood until it had gotten really run down, Now days its Ricochets in Chatsworth. Not many safe places around in terms of parking and patrons.
