Playing Real Media files (RM) on Xbox

Firstly.... I have at long last purchased an xBox360 today... R2800 with Gears of War and Pirates of the Caribbean.

I have set it up on the network and can just about play everything I need except RM files.

Does anyone know if it is possible to play this format on the xbox?

Do a bit reading on TVersity and rather use that to stream your content to the Xbox.

Indeed it is South Park....

I can just convert it before watching... but may as well just watch it on the PC screen once doing all the effort.

Also just realized that mpg doesnt pick up either... probably just needs a rename to avi though..

Dude just use TVersity, it will decode it on the fly and stream it to your console.

Firstly.. the answer is not there.
Secondly.. rather specify a question into its own thread and summarize its answer into an faq thread.

Nothing worse than an faq having multiple posts troubleshooting or giving suggestions to a single question

Yeah any content you can't play directly on the XBox you can stream via TVersity. If you can play it on your PC, you can watch it on your XBox.

Note: this also includes Matroska (.mkv) files.
