Sorry if this has been discussed before. I want to ask you guys which app you think is the best for playing roms on an android.

By best I am also looking at speed, simplicity and whether its a battery hogger or not.

I wonder if the OP doesn't mean ROMs, like in emulated arcade or console games? :p If so, there are quite a couple of them out there and most should be about the same wrt speed, battery life and simplicity. Well, that's based on the last time I checked this out, which was 9 months ago or so.

/facepalm

Yeah now that I read it again, I see my mistake. In that case I use TigerArcide for my Mame roms. Not all Mame roms are working but from the ones I played on it it seem to have done a nice job of it. Esp with the ability to remap keys from touchscreen to keyboard if you have a slide model like the Desire Z or Sony Experia Play.

OMW!!!! its removed from the Android market, them baseds..... oops maybe not https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tiger.game.arcade2

The other emus are I know of are all the oids, Gameboid, SNESoid, GBAoid etc though they're are all gone from the android market but you can find em floating around elsewhere.

However any emulation will take nice big swigs of your battery, it's just the way it works.

Ok. I guess I will have to check whats available. Thanks for the tips.
