Will I experience any problems purchasing second hand games and playing them on XBox Live multiplayer?
Are there any keys involved that cannot be re-used on another console or similar copy-protection schemes that I need to be aware of?
My console is not hacked and I'm not going to so being banned is not an issue - I just don't want to purchase a multiplayer game and find that it doesn't work.

You might find games here & there that come with codes that unlock something extra like an extra weapon, or a suit of armour or some such when new. Nothing affecting the core gameplay, though... not yet anyway.

Okay, thanks. I hope they keep it that way.
Seeing as console games are so much more expensive than PC games it helps that one can buy and sell them second hand to recover some of the costs.

It does, as long as you don't sell them back to BT Games - the prices they offer for 2nd-hand games are insulting. Dunno where you are, but do try AnimeWorx if you're anywhere near a branch of theirs.

I found BTGames prices to be rather high in general.
I'm swinging by AWX Centurion this afternoon to pick up the silver controller so I may just pick up a game or two while I'm there.
