PlayStation 5 renders published

LetsGoDigital has published 3D renders of the PlayStation 5 based on leaked patent papers.

If the renders are at accurate portrayals of the patented design, the PlayStation 5 will be a massive change from the current-generation PlayStation 4.

the dev kit looks both cool and horrible in the wrong ways
doubt the consumer model will look like that
now they just need to leak the specs

I thought it was already determined that those are not what it will look like.

Most people would be embarrassed to have such an ugly thing on display.

You'd think a journalist would do their research and state it's the render of the dev kit first but I guess it's the time we're in.

I wish Sony would make a few special editions of these batshyte insane concept designs with real consoles inside them.

With 3D printing and rapid prototyping they could probably do it quite easily.

Just the dev kit, whats with that gap in the middle anyways?
A cup or can of soda maybe?

While I understand the need for cooling for next-gen consoles, I'm just wondering how thats gonna look in my entertainment system.

Anyone with half a brain should be able to figure that out based on the silly "buttons" up front for play/pause/skip track which is like something from the 80's that isn't very digital-centric at all in the modern world of remote everything.
