Got my hands on a 2nd hand one for R600. I would say what I paid for it coupled with the BleemSync app, it's a somewhat more worthwhile purchase.
Haven't had much time to tinker with it but you can also get access to the PS Classic hidden menu and fiddle around with a bunch of options.
