PlayStation continues to dominate Xbox

The PlayStation 4 is like the video-game character that can’t be defeated.

Five years after its debut, Sony Corp.’s $300 console is enjoying one of the strongest product cycles seen in the business, thanks to a steady stream of popular game titles.

Can Playstation dominate Xbox? Wouldnt the correct English be something like “Playstation continues to dominate the console......”

It comes in cycles, the Xbox 360 was beating the PS3 for awhile, the Wii beat them all. At this point the One is hampered by the lack of anything really awesome, there has been no exclusives this generation on the One that have been really really great, no new IPs either.
Then again Sony seems to like to release remaster after remaster.

Microsoft has removed any point in buying their consoles, other than as 4K Blu-ray players, thanks to the Play Anywhere program that makes all the console exclusives available on PC as well. I'm very grateful the program exists, but it does render the Xbox One somewhat irrelevant.

The PS4, on the other hand, has insane exclusives that any serious gamer just can't miss out on. God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Spider-man, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Bloodborne etc.

I'm glad for some of the remasters. I never played The Last of Us on PS3, so it's really nice being able to get a revamped version on PS4 in anticipation of the sequel. And the upcoming Spyro trilogy remaster looks insane. Definitely picking that up.
