Playstation Plus subs...call this a slight increase??

Just got this mail notification about a 'slight' increase in the annual subs from Sony for Playstation Plus subs

From R489 to R749! anyone else think a 53% increase is not 'slight'

Is this only for the year sub? The monthly sub staying the same?
 
I am on annual subs so the mail only mentioned that, I suspect those on monthly subs will also increase to keep it consistent.

No prob with an increase but pls don't let them call 53% 'slight'
 
Still R489.00 now, buying an extra years prescription as we speak!
 
Was about to post this, what the actual fukc!! And they only give us a day's notice :mad:

That's quite the increase.
 
Guess Sony can go and screw themselves now.I won't be buying a PS4 after this and will be selling my PS3 after subscription.
 
F'n ridiculous - and the shyte indie games make me more furious
 
Can you buy a 365 day subscription now and only load it in say 6 month time?

Have to look at when they last did an increase and our exchange rate isn't doing that great, and also that lovely digital tax we now have to pay also must have an influence.

I just had a look (since I just got a PS4) and the USA guys are $9.99/ month.

R100 bucks isn't that much, or is it? what am i missing?

Sure those two games i see are crap, but what were the last lot of games like that were provided?
