Howzit
Been checking out various repair options in Cape Town for the launch edition "Old Faithful" PS3 with a YLOD.
I've narrowed it down to two:
1) Console Doctor (Mark). Tried and tested, but far away which means two missions of a drive to drop off and collect. Also he says he's really busy this week.
2) Kieltec (Paul). Came across his ad through a Google search, he's based in the CBD so close-by. More expensive than console doctor but still reasonable, though I don't know of his track-record/reliability.
Would prefer, for convenience-sake, to go with option 2, but wanted to first get some references, so if anyone has used Kieltec/Paul from Cape Town CBD to repair their consoles, please speak up
TIA
