Any similar/beter Axis cameras, maybe with PTZ for similar price?

The Axis 214 is about the best at R11857.00 excl Videotech outdoor housing at R3000+

Sorry thats about it their are other makes like the Sony PTZ, VCanon & Panosonic PTZ. Plenty of prices on overseas website

My prev company installed this Sony PTZ on top of the Outeniqua Mtns had the best view ever, long hard climb to the top or chopper ride.
Lost the camera eventually - pity

R12,000 ex is a bit out of my price range.

The photos in the link you send is really great. But I dont need anything in that league.

I only want to watch animals at a watering hole over approx 40m distance during day or night.

Hence I thought the Vivotek - IP Cam, 10/100, 2 MPixel (1600x1200) P7161R at R4965 ex should do just fine, although I wouldnt mind a PTZ at a relatively higher price (maybe R1000- R2000 more).

I guess I would would suffer some picture quality going with a cheaper PTZ compared to the IP1761?
