Your lack of working DNS services/access is Nelspruit is fricking appalling.

I can't even get 3G.

So yes, just kill over and die.

Bye

Eish! Vodacom haven't made a good name for themselves this week.

The "service" in Nelspruit has been EXTREMELY ERRATIC over the last three weeks or so. It ranges from almost acceptable to ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUSLY K@K to UNUSABLE

Since I switched to OpenDNS servers, (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220), my Vodacom 3G is working perfectly.

Exactly.

OpenDNS helps, but I have ZERO 3G signal!
Does this mean the GConnect is useless?

Yep. I don't have a contract sim and I'm not paying R150 per year for a Gconnect sim.

DIE Vodascum!

Watch out guys.
Vodacom has been shooting me down with any and all Nelspruit problems for about 2 years now.

GL Though.
Lemme know when they fix yours, and maybe I will try again.

Just switch over to a different network?

Some of us only get a usable signal from one network, so swapping isn't an option, unfortunately. And (perhaps more importantly) even if you can swap, sooner or later you'll have hassles with the new network too, so it's usually easier to just stick around and try to get some improvement from the one you're with. Frustrating though.

Then why whinge and wish the company "death" if you choose to stick it out? Lol SA consumers....
