Please do not put USERNAMES and PASSWORD online

We had a post recently of some poor bloke or girl's username and password. The person who posted it, probably didn't know any better, but this is bad in the online world!

A big no-no.

That thread is currently under moderator review and will probably be removed off the system permanently. Currently it is in the ice box of soft deleted threads.

Whatever you do, do not distribute the username and password if you perhaps took it down for use. Remove it off your system if it isn't yours.

This Microsoft Guy told me that something like 40% (different figure I think) gave him their passwords because they were MS - they then went and tested them and those where the passwords

It was so obviously an overseas hacker. Why would he/she post it here if they could use it?!

Theories abound but if it happens again, please use the REPORT BAD POST function...
