What is VOX, how would it be better than the regular stuff I have now?
What do I keep, still use etc? (wrt line, ADSL line)

Could someone explain it nicely? :D

I have only had a limited experience with VOX, but what I rememeber is that you connect your ADSL line directly to the phone and then this acts as your ADSL modem. I think you then are able to use a VoIP service or a standard analogue phone service.
The draw back is that you only have one ethernet port from the VOX phone, so you need to connect it to a WAN router if you want to share the connection.

Hope that helps.

I'm currently using Vox at home.

Basically, you receive a Vox router/phone from the service provider. Unfortunately you'll need to use the modem from Vox, because the phone's connected wireless to the modem.

You've also got 2 ethernet conncetions on the router (if I remember correctly).

It's a Voip phone when you're ADSL is connected and an Analogue phone if you're adsl is disconnected.
