Guys, I need help!

I have been tasked with sourcing an ipod and dociking station for an uncle (don't ask) but I know nothing about Apple products at all.

I want to suggest a Ipod Touch 32GB: http://www.takealot.com/apple-ipod-touch-32gb-space-grey/PLID29433641
and he wants this docuking station: http://www.takealot.com/philips-docking-system/PLID28011543
Docking station spec's: http://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/DS7530_05/for-ipod-iphone-battery-ac-powered/specifications

Can someone confirm that the Ipod Touch connector will be compatible with the philips? I know there was a changing recently to lightning connector or something...

That docking station has a 30pin connector. The new iPods/iPhones and iPads use the new Lightning connector. You can buy an adapter that makes the newer devices compatible with older accessories.

However using it wirelessly with Bluetooth will work.
