Please help??? ISDN router password

My DI-304 router will not connect via the ISDN2a terminal. The 'D' link is up, but A and B ports are down. I've configured it with the supplier's help...no luck. Now he's saying my username and password may be wrong, and would you believe I can find no-one at Telkom able to tell me what my ISDN username and password are - to put into the router... are they the same as my analog dialup ISP password/username?
Any help would be appreciated here - this is frustrating!

The ISDN router connection details should be the same as your analog dialup ISP password/username.

The ISDN modem dials the same POP number as a dialup modem. The ISP modem bank on the other end will know if it is a ISDN or analog call and use the appropriate device.

I've input the username - still no connection....but we keep trying.... if I was as incompetent in my profession as the 'experts' at Telkom, I'd have been dismissed years ago.
