Please help me diagnose my latency/packet loss issue

Hi guys

I've recently swapped to a WISP from ADSL due to a congested exchange.

Downloads are great, speed does fluctuate a little but my real issue is that I've been trying to game without much success - Battlefield 4 shows the packet loss indicator frequently, and I get kicked off servers for connection errors regularly. Ping to the server however is great @ ±14ms.

I think its packet loss - due to the decent server ping which only spikes intermittently.

Does anyone have any advice on how to diagnose the issue?

Additional details:
I'm using a NanoBeam M5-400 to connect - distance is ±5km. Running firmware v5.5.9
Signal strength is ± -55dBm
Chain 0/1 : ± 58dBm/56dBm
Noise floor : -102dBm
Transmit CCQ : 96%
AirMax enabled
AirMax Quality : 92%
AirMax Capacity : 87%

I've asked about disabling WDS - are there any consequences to doing this?
 
I've run pingplotter for a bit:

Apart from the packet loss on hop 6 - hop 3 is quire erratic? What do you guys see?
 
After chatting to the friendly guys at level-7 -they alerted me to something maxing out my upload speed... resulting in packet loss.

At first i didn't believe them... however tonight I saw it with my own eyes...

So now to figure out what is transmitting data... but irt definitely looks like its what the issue was!

Hey JustinB,

It could be something like iCloud or Google syncing backups etc and it very easily reaches max upload speed which then starts dropping packets to slow you down. Keep an eye on it and let us know if you need anymore help!

Thanks Christian

I don't have icloud or sync enabled - i suspect it may be Plex doing something, but will monitor. After I shut down my server, my game was awesome :)
