Please help me identify this car!

Can't you do a Ctrl+PrtScn and paste the image in paint on the computer where the footage is? A photo of a screen makes it even harder to see what it is.

From the front it almost looks Honda like.

took this directly from software - still too blurry to make out

the nissan livina and the Etios Crossover are looking like likely options as well at this point.

They all have panels on the door, which the car in die OP does not seem to have.

That doesn't look much like anything I recognise from the local market; with every car I've checked there's something not quite right. It's not a Touran - the badge and mags are all wrong.

The front looks like a Skoda to me, which is also part of the VAG group.

Send it to Horatio Caine, he will get you the VIN of the license disc.

Back on topic,
this screenshot is not a reliable one to work from. http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=343225&d=1455833498

Just look at the wheelbase of the vehicle, from the image one would think it is a 2 door MPV Coupe type of hybrid.
To assume that the door has no rubber strip or any standout features is wrong. The vehicle was in motion in this particular screenshot, or that is my thinking.

I'm still thinking its a VW Touran (with Fiat Panda 100HP wheels:whistle:)

Fiat Panda 100HP is my next guess, but what criminal will drive one???

So what's the story with this dodgy 1st Gen Touran?

2 white males broke through our secure gate at complex on 2 separate occasions this week and scoped out the place....

Their pictures have been given to police who is now patrolling our area on high alert. All our streets have cctv so if I can get description of car it also helps.

1998 Toyota Noah is the closest I can find.
Grill looks slightly different but it might just be a chrome add-on.

Afaik never sold in SA, but very popular as taxis in East Africa. They were all over Tanzania.

Grill looks like a Skoda to me.

The only model Skoda has in that shape is the Yeti, and it has never had a model with totally flat doors or chrome around the entire grille.

Never. Even Stevie Wonder can spot the f**k ugliness on that one.
Not the frog eyed one. The new shape
