Hi, the router is a b315. Do I just do a firmware upgrade. I have never done something like this before. It seems to be telkom locked

Do I need to change something in the routerRouters dont get network locked in SA afaik, Telkom LTE used a different frequency though so that might be the issue.
What are you trying to do?Do I need to change something in the router
The router led is green, it can mean router does nor recognize sim. 3 year old router. What are you trying to do?
Generally, the router will work fine provided it supports the bands associated to the network in question.
Even the APN across most mobile networks are the same.
Have you tried the fok-jou knoppie?Router says connected, but no internet
I just bought a bf 50 mtn, no one told me it is tower fix. It shows connected, and it look like it is set to mtn, but no internet. Currently on holiday and wanted to use this data. Don't even have a tool to remove my phones sim, to test on my phoneAre you possibly trying to use a LTE Mtn fixed network sim in the b315 if this is not one of the approved router models.
I see this telkom acs on the router. Should it not be MTN.

Now to find a paper clip on the beachThe ACS is for Telkom to log into your modem you can disable it. You can use a paper clip to remove the sim.
