Anyone using lumia with cell c ,help me set the correct APN.
APN :
USERNAME:
PASSWORD:
PROXY SERVER\URL:
PROXY PORT:

APN should be "internet".

Username you can set to "Cellcis", password can probably be left blank.

Don't think you need a proxy either, but I could be wrong about that.

Insert SIM and RESTART handset and the rest should work.

Type *147# and CALL on your phone.
You should see a menu.
Choose 1-GPRS/MMS settings.
You will receive 2 SMS's with settings.
Click SAVE for each.
Turn off your phone for 10 minutes.

I tried *147# service but unfortunately i can not get the gprs/edge settings to save them. I did call a cell c customer care , and they told they will send me a sms with apn setting they did ,i tried to set apn->internet, proxy to 196.031.116.250, port to 8080 , but still i can not use internet yes i have 380mb data.

Sorry to here of the problem and would seriuosly suggest you take the phone and SIM to a qualified Cell C dealer to have sorted. Many of us on the main networks the setup for internet,MMS and SMS message centre is automatic just by inserting the SIM and booting up the phone and all works.
