Please help - Windows 7 with Nokia phone as a modem

I recently installed windows 7 home premium on my pc.
I have used my 2 cell phones as modems for a long time with no issue, using XPpro op system.

Ever since windows 7 has been installed neither of the phones can seem to hold a connection for any meaningful length of time.
N95 and 5800 xpress music.

Click a few pages then all of a sudden no data transfer, still displays as connected on pc suite though (version 71406).

I'm stumped.
I cant see anything blocking it.
Any suggestions.

might just get a data card today from mtn and try that.

same thing happens with my n97... No solution found as yet.. I just live with it

Bought a MTN data card, no problems so far, go figure!

Will do, still connected.
Managed to do a windows update no probs wheres before that was impossible.

To test I connected with Vodacom aagain and got disconnected within minutes.
Its a Vodacom issue, and all they can tell me is to set my phone to not use 3g.

I still got till end of april to finish my voda bundle, but its strange that i havent heard of anyone else with the same problem...
