Please help with some urgent info

I recently bought my first place in port elizabeth, a flat on the 6th floor (top floor). I then got voted onto the board of trustees for our block & learned that we hav 2 cell phone towers on our roof almost directly above my flat. 1 for Vodacom & one for CellC. Since we are getting rent for these I didnt really think much of it as it helps reduce costs of maintenance for the owners.

MTN have now approached us & they want to go ahead with a tower for them as well. I decided to do a quick search about the dangers of the radiation & am now VERY worried.

My main concern is that my wife fell pregnant just before we moved here. After reading what potential harm I may be doing to my unborn child I almost feel like I need to move which I cant really afford to do.

Approach V and C and ask them how much more rent they'll pay if you don't let M put their tower up....
 
I'm sure that its ur legal right to ask MTN in writing, to first report any side effects (if any, whether scientifically proven or still being researched with preliminary results) of the tower on the human body.
But I gotta say, it'd be a mute point to deny mtn from putting a tower there, when u already got 2 others there already.
Post here anything you get from them cos I'd be interested to know, myself...
 
You most likely have a very steel reinforced concrete floor. In addition, the antennas on the towers are optimised to transmit maximum signal at an angle about 8 degrees beneath the horizon - definitely not downwards towards you!

If you were living in a block of flats right next door then your exposure would have been at least a thousands times stronger.

In fact, you may find the signal in your block of flats quite weak, and weakest on the bottom floor. This unfortunately means that when you talk on your cell, it will transmit more power to the tower.
