please help with win7 issue

i finally upgraded to win7 86 etc

my problem is that when i try to enter a reg key into my programs i cant, it comes up with a box that says copy to clipboard but when i copy the key it doesnt do anything ?

why ? it seems to be a clipboard issue, i did install all updates from microsoft on saturday could that have caused something to go wrong ?

another thing i noticed

my patched software doesnt want to install with the pre-loaded keys etc in other words i cant "register" any of my software that i use quite alot eg teracopy, IDM etc

any ideas

and please dont start a flame war over OS and piracy or stuff like that... all that is needed is your tech knowhow

Is your OS cracked and did you perhaps install windows update KB971033? Google it, it's a known anti-hack and will render your install non-genuine.

Either that or instead of copy-paste just type the blerrie serial in yourself.

cr@p i installed all updates on saturday thats probably it .... the copy paste thing ... it doesnt allow me to type in anything, it just comes up with a window that says copy to clipboard ...no space to type anything in

Interesting thing I discovered today... is that if KB971033 is not installed and you install Windows 7 service pack 1... KB971033 is till there after the SP1 update.

That means that KB971033 is not installed as part of SP1.
